How can I become a Model?

Through us of course! You must first submit the highest quality photographs that you have. You can submit these by uploading them on our website, sending them to our California office, or emailing them to us as an attachment. Your portfolio is imperative to your success Once we have your portfolio in our database, it will be exposed to thousands of people who specialize in the modeling business every month. We will also promote your portfolio to photographers who we feel will be interested in your style. You will then be contacted directly when someone shows interest in booking you.

Will I have to sign a contract with COACH Models, which will forbid me to model for another agency?

No. We will never ask you to sign any type of contract. Actually, we encourage you to get as much modelling experience as you can, even with other agencies!

How much can a model earn with COACH Models.com?

That really depends on the jobs you are offered. Depending on how established you are, as a model, will decide how much you will be offered per job. The least you are allowed to make per job is $50.00/hr. A model with little experience can expect to make a minimum of $70.00/hr. Models with more experience can basically make an offer to the company quoting how much they expect per hour.

How pretty do I have to be?

This answer is common sense. The objective of being a model is to basically be seen as being attractive or having attractive features. There is more than how you look though. Body language and charisma can actually make a big difference at a photo-shoot. The best thing you can do if you want an answer to this, is send us your best pictures. Our panel of experts can give you their opinion. You have nothing to lose, send us your pictures today!

How tall do I have to be?

If an event is coming up in your area, you will be notified regardless of your height. We are more concerned with your beauty then your height. For catwalk and runway events, a minimum height of 5 foot 8 inches is usually enforced; this can vary from event to event. Our Booker will not contact you if you do not meet the specific shoot?s requirements. That way you will only receive jobs that will suit you!

How many jobs will I receive/ How many jobs has COACH Models received?

If/how many times you will be booked really depends on you. It is necessary you submit the clearest, highest quality pictures you can. We have models being booked on almost a daily basis. We have several models that receive bookings almost every week. On the other hand, we have a few models that have not received a single offer. COACH Models has provided thousands of jobs, mostly in Europe (since we have just opened in the US).

What quality must the pictures be if they are digital?

We recommend you scan actual pictures before you try to submit digital pictures. If you do not have a scanner, we ask you to send your pictures to our New York office. There, we can scan and upload them onto our page. This tends to yield much higher quality portfolios.

What happens when I am booked for an event/job?

As soon as an agent shows interest in you, you will be notified by your personal booker. You will then be given all the details you will need to make your decision of whether to accept/decline the offer. We, as your agency, are there for you if you have any questions.

When will I actually meet my booker?

As soon as someone shows interest in hiring you, you can be assured your personal booker will get in touch with you. After registering, you will receive your booker?s mobile phone number, address, etc. You can contact him/her 24hrs. a day with any questions or problems you may have. Our bookers are experienced and will be glad to help you.

After I register, will I be eligible for a free photo-shooting?

Yes. After you have applied, and been accepted, you will be eligible for a free photo shooting with one of our partners in your area. Most of our models have had a free session, others have received discounted shootings. On our homepage, you will find a section titled Photographers. There you can find a list of our partners in the continental US. If you cannot find a partner in your area, you will have the opportunity to choose a photographer of your choice. We will then contact him/her and offer them a partnership with COACH Models. We will then arrange for a free photo shooting for you. This will benefit the photographer in that he/she can advertise their logo for free on our web page. In turn he/she will provide you with a free photo shooting.

What type of style do I need to model for COACH?

We are not looking for one specific look. We do try to maintain a clean image, so no nude pictures please. To know if you are right for us, simply send us your pictures and let our panel of experts decide. You have nothing to lose!

Why have I been chosen by a Scout?

Our scouts are continuously looking for new faces in all of the USA. Models are needed for photo shootings, movies, TV, and fashion shows. If you have been chosen by one of our scouts, you have a very good chance of ending up in one of these professions!

What exactly will COACH Models do for me?

Most importantly, we will put your portfolio on display for literally thousands in the modelling industry to see. We will notify you of modelling events in your area, even if we are not directly sponsoring them. After being accepted into our agency, you will have a personal booker whose job is to find modelling jobs for you. He/she will also be there for you if you have any questions or concerns. We hope to share our knowledge and launch your modelling career!

As a registered COACH model, when can I expect to be booked?

After you have registered in our database, you have taken the first step. Firms and agencies across America now have access to your online-portfolio. We at COACH Models also play in active role in helping you reach success by promoting your pictures to other agencies and photographers. We are currently searching for new models to represent our company, take advantage of this opportunity to obtain professional experience!

Why can I not yet see my online-portfolio?

As soon as you have completed the registration, your portfolio should be accessible through our homepage. Typically, we display our semi-professional and professional models first. Visitors of our page have the option to search through our database by the available option on the right hand side of the page. Under the newcomer category, we display our models that have a very high potential, but no professional material. If you sent only vacation photos or other non-professional pictures, your portfolio should still be active, but will more than likely be located under the newcomer category. If you still cannot find your portfolio, please contact us.

When and where can I arrange for my discounted photo-shooting with one of COACH Models partners?

We will gladly help to arrange a discounted photo shooting with one of our partners in your area. On our homepage, you can find a list of our affiliates in the United States under the photography link. Furthermore, you have the possibility of acquiring the photographer of your choice at a discounted rate. In order to achieve this, you must be a registered COACH Model model and the photographer must be a COACH Models partner. We will in turn offer the photographer the chance of becoming our partner for free if he/she arranges a discounted photo shooting for you. COACH Models has more than 10,000 visitors per month and an average of 5-10 bookings per week. We are the fastest growing modeling company in the United States. We will gladly display the logo of the photographers company on our homepage. This will allow the photographer great publicity as well as the opportunity to make great connections. We urge photographers to take advantage of this opportunity as well as help our database grow.

How can I become a partner of COACH Models

We gladly accept those interested in becoming our partners. If you are interested, please email us at usa@coachmodels.com. We will glady bring our models to your events as well as advertise your company on our homepage.

How many people visit CoachModels.com

COACH Models receives over 10,000 visitors a month. We have over 1,500 registered models in Germany as well as other parts of Europe and the US. We are now expanding to bring our knowledge to the modeling industry in the United States.

How do I book a model?

After you have picked a model out of our database, you will need to click on the Casting Questions link that will direct you to the form that must be filled out. We will then discuss with our model the terms and conditions that you have given us. He/she will then be given the chance to accept/decline your offer. On our Booking page you can submit questions, no commitment necessary!

How do I register with COACHModels.com?

Who is behind COACH Models?

Recommended Requirements for COACH Models

Your appearance and quality of photographs is obviously the most significant factor when it comes to modeling for our agency. Below is a list of general requirements- Women: Age 15-35 years old Minimum Height 5 foot 6 inches* Men: Age 17-30 years old Minimum Height 5 foot 8 inches * The minimum height only applies to runway and catwalk events. Height in either gender is not important in most photo-shoots. We rarely accept any models under the age of 15.

What will COACH Models reimburse me for when I am booked?

When you are booked for an event, we will pay expenses including lodging and travel fees. If you are booked for an event in a foreign country, we guarantee you a minimum earning of $1,000. Any event which has above average demands, will have to be discussed between you and the agent.

How long will it take for me to find out if I have been accepted by COACH Models?

It may take up to 14 days for our panel to make a decision. This allows enough time for us to discuss your potential and determine what you could contribute to our company. Once we have come to a decision, you will be notified by email.

What is your telephone number?

We are rarely available in our office, so we recommend you email us.

Is it hard to be accepted by COACH Models?

COACH Models maintains an exclusive database where we choose models that we predict will receive many offers. We do not have a certain look that we aim for. We need models of all types, so there is only one way to find out for sure... APPLY! You have nothing to lose!

How does the portfolio-update feature function?

People's measurements are always changing. In order for you to keep your portfolio accurate, you will need to keep these up-to-date. To change any entry, log in to your account, change the entry, and press the save button.

Contract conditions? If I apply now, am I obligated to any contract conditions? What are the membership costs of COACH Models?

Your application is accepted without obligations. If you are booked, you will have the option to accept or decline the conditions of the person wishing to book you. For the display of your online portfolio, which will be seen by literally thousands in the modeling industry, a one-time charge of only $29 will be applied.

Free photo-shootings after I have registered?

As soon as you have been accepted, you will possibly be entitled for a free photo shooting in your area with one of our partner photographers. If we do not yet have a partner in your area, please contact us and we will arrange for one.

I only have regular photos, no professional material. Is it even worthwhile to upload these pictures onto your website, or must I first get professional pictures made? If so, how do I go about doing so?

It is definitely advisable to register to become one of our models, even if you do not yet have professional material available. After you have registered, you will be eligible for a free photo shooting with one of our partners. You will then be registered as a COACH Models model as well as have a professional portfolio.

What does views mean under my picture?

That simply shows you how many people have viewed you portfolio.

I only have 1 photo to register with. Is it possible for me to have a free photo shooting before I register so that I have more pictures to submit?

Unfortunately we cannot offer you a free photo session with you being an official COACH Model.

How long will it take for a model to receive an offer or be booked?

This is of course impossible to predict. According to what you have to offer, you may be booked immediately. To increase your chances, we recommend you upload your best, most professional pictures. We have numerous models that are booked several times a month, while others have not received a single booking. We will do as much as possible to help, but most of it depends on the pictures you submit. We will gladly help you obtain professional material.

How can I get a free photo shooting?

After you have been accepted, we will provide you with the necessary details to receive your free or discounted photo shooting with one of our partners!

Exclusive - Will I be allowed to model for other agencies or is COACH Models an exclusive only agency?

No. We are absolutely NOT an exclusive agency. We encourage you to get as much experience as possible!

How many models can I book at once?

As many as you need! Simply click the Remember this portfolio button while browsing through our database. Then you can submit a request form for as many models as you need.

When will I be able to find another event in Atlanta?

After the success of our last event in Atlanta, we have begun to plan our next photo-shooting in the Atlanta area. Please contact us for further details.

Where can I find the link to send my personal online-portfolio?

When you access you portfolio, you will notice four buttions across the bottom of the page. Send Portfolio will appear on one of the links. There you will be able to promote your portfolio by sending it to other agencies or photographers.

What should I do if I made a mistake in the registration process?

Your pictures will still be automatically uploaded. You will then receive your login details by email. Then, you will be able to log in and change any mistakes you may have made during the registration process.

How will I know if I have been suggested for a specific job/casting (even if I am not accepted)? Will I have the chance to see how many people have shown interest in my portfolio?

The number of hits your portfolio receives can give you an estimate on how much attention your photos are receiving. If someone shows particular interest in your portfolio, you will be notified by email. Your personal booker will then contact you by phone with all the specific details.

My portfolio has successfully been activated and I can find my portfolio using my first name in the search engine. I cannot, however, find my portfolio by clicking on my location on the US map. What is wrong?

After clicking on the Newcomer button, you will find our Newcomer-models; this means that they have no professional material. You should be able to find your portfolio here if that apllies to you. You can access this link under the USA map.

How do I get in touch with a photographer?

On our homepage, you will find the Partner link. Once accessing that page, you will be able to scroll through our list of partner-photographers. All of these photogrpahers will provide most of our models with a free or discounted photo shooting as a registered COACH Models model. We also have a list of photographers that we are not yet affiliated with. We can send you this list upon request. By becoming a partner of the COACH Models team, photographers can be assured that they will have the opportunity to meet numerous models, and book them free of cost to the photographer. In providing the photographer with this possibility, we request that he/she offers free photo-shootings for our models. If you are interested in becoming a partner, please contact us at usa@coachmodels.com to receive a partnership form.

My application pictures - Do they have to be perfect?

We encourage you to submit the most professional pictures you have. If you are not happy with your pictures, you will be entitled to a free or discounted photo shooting with one of our partners in your area. This is an exclusive offer to our registered COACH Models models. Your photos you submit are used to determine your potential by our panel of experts, after that we can have new ones made to actually place on your portfolio.

Where can I get a free or discounted photo shoot?

The photo shootings with our partner photographers are most of the time free for registered models. It all depends if the photographer offers TFP/TFCD or other special conditions.

I am 30 ... is that too old???

No. We generally accept models of all ages. Depending on your look, you may or may not receive many requests to participate in specific events. On the other hand, there may be certain events that will search for mature models specifically!

I do not have a scanner or digital camera, what should I do?

You can send us your pictures and we will scan then for you. Refer to our webpage for our New York address.

Photo Shooting - Pictures in my area?

Nearly all of our models have the possibility with one of our partner-photographers, to have a free or drastically reduced-price photo shooting in their area. Our team is continuously on the search for professional photographers, so that we can offer you the possibility of having a good photographer for your photo shooting. We are also interested in your experience with our partners. Please send us an email at usa@coachmodels.com and let us know how it went. Your opinion is important to us!

Necessary Criteria? Are there special standards I must meet in order to be accepted as a model? For instance, if I want to be a face-only model, is my height important?

The size plays a small role in photograph. If you are only having your face photographed, your height is irrelevant. However, having a proportional body is important.

Can I see who shows interest in me?

We cannot give out personal information of those interested in booking you. However, after you have accepted the proposal, your booker will contact you with all the necessary.

What are the minimum and the maximum sizes for male models? Is 6-foot 9inches to tall, and are there people who specialize in tall models?

The demand for very tall models is not that great. The average size boundary is roughly 6 foot 5 inches, however this is not always the case. After your application with photos, our stylists can evaluate your potential and we will contact you with our decision.

There are several jobs I am interested in on your Events page, how do I register for them?

Our partners, who are searching for models for their events, advertise the listed photo-shootings. Over a special availability index, our clients search for the type of model that is demanded. Our partners then notify corresponding models. The decision, of which models are booked for the event, lies exclusively in the respective clients. A separate application for the events is therefore not necessary and functions automatically

From Newcomer to semi-professional?

You can earn a higher ranking by submitting higher quality photographs. Once you submit professional material, your online-ranking will automatically be raised.

Will you accept babies into your agency?

Unfortunately we are currently not taking babies onto our database. We are planning to start this very soon though.

If I receive an offer, am I obligated to accept it?

As soon as someone shows interest in you, you will be notified by email or telephone with all of the details. Then you can make your decision whether to accept the job or not.

Free photo shootings & Partners in my area?

By all of our partner-photographers, you are entitled to a free photo session. If you are searching for a photographer in your area, try these steps- 1. Contact a reputable photographer in your area, and ask him/her if they would be interested in becoming a partner of COACH Models. 2. The photographer will then receive free advertisement on our web page, and in turn, will provide you with a free photo shooting. 3. Present the photographer with this letter (link can be found below). In this document, you will find all the details for the photographer.

I am 17 and a student. I would like to graduate high school and maybe even go to college. Is it possible to be a student and a model? When will I be booked? Is there any way I can request just to be booked during the weekends?

Most events and appointments are actually on the weekend! You will have no problem being a student as well as a model Modelling is a great way to make extra money, but very few people can live off of it alone. There could be several months where you are not booked, and then times where you constantly have offers. It is very unpredictable. Therefore we advise every model to have a dependable job as well as an education.

Photo-shooting San Diego- What do I have to do to take part of this event?

Can I trust that I and my personal information will be safe?

YES. We only work with reputable firms and photography studios. We also guarantee that all of your personal info is 100% safe and will not be passed on to ANYONE else.

How can I promote myself as COACH Models-Model?

Our photographers have access to our database and can review each model that is associated with COACH Models. In addition, you will receive a COACH Models CompCard with which you can promote yourself.

I am having problems uploading my pictures; can I send them to you by mail?

You can also send us your pictures by email. Please send your pictures to usa@coachmodels.com with your name in the Subject line.

Catwalk and runway training?

We will offer classes to help train all of our models that will participate in catwalk or runway events. If you are booked for this type of event, please let us know if you need assistance.

Am I allowed to model for more than one agency?

Yes, we do not enforce any type of exclusive contract with our models. We actually recommend you model for other agencies; this will help you collect valuable experience.

If I decide to participate, how exactly does the free-photo shooting function?

Please contact our partner photographers directly. Our photographers have access to our database and will then be able to confirm that you are registered with us. After your online-portfolio has been activated, you will be eligible for a free or discounted photo shooting with one of our partners.

Casting and Photoshooting in San-Diego?

All COACH Models models in this area will automatically receive an email with all the details.

How do I register for upcoming shootings or events?

The registration process occurs automatically. Once you have been accepted by COACH Models, photographers will have access to your portfolio. They will then able to book you. Models out of our database are being chosen on almost a daily basis.

I am somewhat overweight, can I still be a model?

We gladly accept applications from everyone, regardless. Our panel of experts will make the final decision.

Will I have to pay anything to register with COACH Models if I already have professional material?

No. If you already have professional pictures we will gladly activate your online portfolio free of charge.

Do I have to have a flexible schedule, or does COACH Models only book during certain times?

The time during which your job will take place depends on the event and the photographer. COACH Models does not require a contract or obligation to availability requirements.

Shootings - Will stylists and make-up artists be available? Do I need to do my own make-up? Will clothes be provided or will I need to bring my own clothes?

You will need to discuss these details with the photographer of the photo-shoot. This often varies from event to event. The choice to bring clothes is entirely up to you. We try to provide designer clothes at most of our shoots, but that cannot be guaranteed.

Model Status: How can I move up to semi-professional or even professional? What criterion are you looking for?

This can usually be achieved by submitting better quality pictures. Another way in which your status will be raised is by the number of jobs you are requested for.

What happens if I change my appearance or style?

No problem, just submit updated pictures for us to put on your portfolio!

Do I have to be a certain height if I am only doing waist-up pictures?

No, this will not matter.

I have changed the color of my hair, what do I need to do?

Please send us updated pictures. We can then upload the pictures as well as edit your personal information. It is very important to have updated pictures!

Hand and Foot models needed?

Every now and then, we do receive these types of jobs. If you are interested please contact us!

Will I be given an opportunity to work for a company?

We cannot guarantee this, but we do receive requests to book our models every day.

Shooting - with stylists & Wardrobe?

Generally, this depends on the type of shooting/event. We try to provide both at any of our sponsored events. It is recommended that you ask about a specific event for details.

I really enjoyed my free photo-shooting, is it possible to have a second free shooting?

This is up to our partner, please contact him/her for this answer.

Will women between the height of 5 foot 3 inches- 5 foot 5 inches have a problem being a model?

No! Of course not! Some of the most famous models and stars of Hollywood are that height or shorter! Tom Cruise... There will be certain events where this will affect you. But for the most part, this will not hurt your chances of being a successful model!

What can I do if I am still not sure about modeling for the COACH Models agency?

We will glady answer any questions or concerns you may have either by telephone or mail!

Cancellation - I just do not have enough time to model right now. What do I have to do to cancel my membership with COACH Models?

I am in a wheelchair, what possibilities can you offer me?

We accept applications from people from all walks of life. We also specialize in photo shoots that require specific types of models. Contact us for more information!

I cannot find my portfolio under my zip code, what's wrong?

This could be due to the category your portfolio has been chosen for. Make sure that you choose the correct status level.

How can I register for the Castings coming up in my area?

I need updated pictures, can I take part in another free photo-shooting?

This will need to be discussed with our partner in your area. Please search through our partners on our web page and contact them.

I want to know when and where the COACH Models Parties are.

These usually take place after an event. We will also list upcoming VIP parties on our homepage under the Events link.

What exactly will I have to pay to be a COACH Models model?

You can apply for free. You can create your portfolio with no cost on coachmodels.com. You can view your online compcard and forward it to model agencies or clients with no cost involved. We DO NOT ASK FOR MONEY at all! You can choose the option to promote yourself on our website (we display your portfolio on the website) - you will also receive voting and messages from models and photographers. We charge 29.95 for the promotion service and to view the partner photographer listings (You are welcome to do your own research!). Please remember - this is your own choice and we don't force anybody and talk you into this. You should also consider that we are not a model agency and we don't want to make false promises. Enjoy!

I cannot find my portfolio using the search function on your page, what am I doing wrong?

Try to find it using your area, if that does not work contact our technical support team.

Will I receive an appointment from you or the photographer?

You will need to contact our partner, who will give you a time to arrange the shooting.

If I submit my application, will I have to pay Money?

No. You will only be asked to pay if we accept you. You can then still decide whether you want to model for us or not. We charge a fee for maintaining your portfolio, contact a partner photographer and you can talk to your booker at any given time. The fee is less than $30.00.

How do I make the size of my pictures smaller?

The best and easiest way to accomplish this is to use the program Photoshop. Or you can send us the pictures and we will do it for you.

I have sent in my application, but I have not yet heard back.

This process can sometimes take up to 5 days. You will hear from us no matter what we decide.

Will a make-up artist be provided at my free or discounted photo-shooting?

This depends on that photographer you choose. You will need to contact him/her for details.

I am now a registered model, do I still have to apply to each event?

No, you are automatically notified of upcoming events in your area.

Can I model, I am only 14?

With the permission of you parents, we will consider sponsoring you to model for our agency. Please contact us for more information.

I think I have great features and I have great proportion...but I am short! Is it even worth my time to model?

Yes! That is a huge misconception in the modelling industry! You will only know if you can be a model if you apply! You have nothing to lose, there is no charge to apply!

How can I become a model?

I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed my photo shooting in Dallas! Will I be able to have another one?

Unfortunately this is a 1-time deal. But we are glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Quality of the pictures? Are the pictures from my vacation good enough?

To apply, yes! If you are accepted, we will arrange for a free photo shooting so that you will have professional material to upload on your portfolio!

Is the booking of Newcomer models completely free?

No. The prices will be dramatically lower, but not free. You may be able to find a model, however, who will do it for free simply to gain experience.

I have tried to call you several times with no luck. How can I reach you?

The best way to reach us is by email. You have to take into consideration that we are travelling quite a bit.

How old do you have to be to model for your agency?

We gladly accept people over the age over 18. For those under 18, we will require parent/guardian permission.
